Is there a Hyperliquid app for iPhone? Your options in 2026
There is no official Hyperliquid iPhone app. Here's how to trade Hyperliquid's perps on stocks, gold, oil and crypto from an iPhone, including with Alpha.
Short answer: Hyperliquid has not released an official iPhone app. Its only official native app is on Android (published on Google Play by Hyperliquid Corp). However, there are still three ways to trade on Hyperliquid if you have an iPhone:
- Use the Hyperliquid web app at app.hyperliquid.xyz and add it to your home screen. It opens full-screen like an app and is Hyperliquid's own interface.
- Use a wallet app with Hyperliquid built in, such as Phantom or MetaMask, if you already keep crypto there.
- Use an independent iPhone app built on Hyperliquid. The Alpha App is designed for this: a simplified native iPhone app for trading perpetual futures on stocks, indices, gold, oil, forex and crypto on Hyperliquid, funded with a card, Apple Pay or USDC. Alpha plugs directly into the Hyperliquid order book. Alternatives like Dreamcash, BasedApp, Dexly and Markets.xyz also offer interfaces for trading on the Hyperliquid order book. None of these, Alpha included, are Hyperliquid's official app.
Any App Store listing that claims to be "the official Hyperliquid app" is not, and Hyperliquid has warned about fake apps. Never type a wallet's recovery phrase into an app you are not sure about.
Check availability first
Hyperliquid's terms restrict US persons, and trade[XYZ], which lists the stock, index and commodity markets on Hyperliquid, restricts people in the US, Canada and the UK. Apps offering perpetual futures built on top of Hyperliquid generally follow similar or stricter rules, and each publishes its own list of excluded countries.

How to choose
Start with how you want to fund your account. If you already hold USDC in a wallet, the Hyperliquid web app or the wallet you already use is the shortest route. If you are starting from a bank card or Apple Pay and have never used a crypto wallet, a dedicated app that handles the deposit and creates the wallet for you is simpler. Alpha is designed for that start: sign in with Apple, Google or email, fund with Apple Pay or a card, and the wallet is created for you. Card and Apple Pay deposits go through payment providers that charge their own fees, often a few percent.
Compare the fee on top of Hyperliquid's. Every third-party app trades on the same Hyperliquid order book, but most add their own fee to each trade (known as a builder fee). Hyperliquid's web app does not. Alpha, for example, adds 0.05% per order on top of Hyperliquid's and trade[XYZ]'s fees, which comes to roughly 0.065% to 0.095% on crypto perps and 0.08% to 0.14% on trade[XYZ] markets such as gold, at Hyperliquid's base fee tier. The exact fee is shown before you confirm. Check each app's fee page before you choose, and remember that funding (a small periodic payment between longs and shorts) applies the same way whichever app you use.
Check the markets you want. Crypto perps are on almost every app. Perpetual futures on stocks, indices, gold and oil come from trade[XYZ]'s markets on Hyperliquid, and not every app lists all of them.
Confirm how you want to access your account. All of the apps above describe themselves as self-custodial: the funds sit in a wallet you control, not with the app. How you sign in differs. Some use a recovery phrase; others, including Alpha, use an Apple, Google or email login secured on your device. Know how you would recover access before you deposit.
What you can trade on Hyperliquid from a phone
Besides crypto, Hyperliquid lists perpetual futures that track US stocks, indices, gold, oil and currencies. Most of these markets are run by trade[XYZ]. They trade around the clock, including weekends, when the primary exchanges used globally are closed.
| Market (trade[XYZ] ticker) | Maximum leverage |
|---|---|
| S&P 500 perp (SP500) | 50x |
| Nasdaq-100 style index perp (XYZ100) | 30x |
| Gold perp (GOLD) | 25x |
| WTI and Brent crude oil perps (WTIOIL, BRENTOIL) | 20x |
| Single-stock perps such as NVDA, TSLA and AAPL | 20x |

Two things to know before trading these:
- You do not own the asset. A perpetual futures contract (the contract you are trading) tracks the price of the underlying asset. You get no shares, dividends or votes. You only have exposure to the price of the asset.
- Weekend prices are capped. While the underlying market is closed, each market can only move within set bounds from Friday's close, then re-anchors to the real price when trading resumes. Weekend order books are also thinner, so prices can be more volatile.
For more on how weekend pricing works on specific markets, see trading gold on the weekend and trading oil on the weekend.
How to add Hyperliquid's web app to your iPhone home screen
- Open Safari and go to app.hyperliquid.xyz. Check the address carefully.
- Tap the Share button.
- Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open it from the new icon. It runs full-screen, without Safari's address bar.
- Connect a wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and deposit USDC from Arbitrum to start trading.
Alpha on iPhone
Alpha is an independent iPhone and Android app, not Hyperliquid's official app and not operated by Hyperliquid. Its perpetual trades execute on the Hyperliquid order book. Its front end is built to abstract away the complexities of an order book and make the trading experience simple. Pick an asset. Decide if you think it will go up or down, choose how much money you’d like to trade with, set your leverage amount to increase or decrease your exposure, and open the trade.
The Alpha App is designed for traders who want to go from an idea to a position in seconds: you can sign in with Apple, Google or email, fund with Apple Pay, a card or another supported provider where available, and trade perpetual futures on stocks, indices, commodities, forex and crypto 24/7.
The Alpha Trader Feed gives you a feed of traders who are taking positions, and you can check each trader's profile to see their record: total PnL, best trade, volume, average hold time and number of trades. It's a new way of discovering trade ideas, where you can check a user’s track record as you decide whether to copy them or not.
If you do wish to copy another trader, you can click on their profile, find a trade you like, and tap Copy to open the same market and direction with that trader's leverage preselected, or Counter to take the other side. You set the amount, can change the leverage before you confirm, and manage your own exit; the management of the position is not mirrored automatically, only the entry.
Alpha charges 0.05% per order on top of Hyperliquid's fees, and the full fee is shown before you confirm (see fees).
FAQ
Is there an official Hyperliquid app on the App Store?
No. As of November 5, 2026, Hyperliquid has not released an iOS app. Its official native app is on Google Play for Android. On iPhone, Hyperliquid's own option is the web app at app.hyperliquid.xyz. There are multiple independent front ends, like the Alpha App, which enable you to trade on the Hyperliquid order book.
Is the Hyperliquid Android app official?
Yes, the Google Play app published by Hyperliquid Corp is Hyperliquid's own. Check the developer name, because other apps use Hyperliquid's name.
Can I trade stocks on Hyperliquid from my iPhone?
Yes, but not in the typical sense. You can trade the price of stocks via perpetual futures contracts, where they are available to you. Stock, index and commodity perps listed by trade[XYZ] can be traded through the web app or through iPhone apps that support them. The perps are not available in the US, Canada or the UK.
Are third-party Hyperliquid apps safe?
Each app comes with its own independent risk profiles. Download only from the developer's own link, check the developer name on the App Store, and never paste a recovery phrase into an app you do not trust. Self-custodial apps do not hold your funds, but a malicious app can still trick you into signing transactions.
Do these apps cost more than using Hyperliquid directly?
Typically yes. Most add a small per-trade fee on top of Hyperliquid's, and card or Apple Pay deposits carry provider fees. You are paying for convenience: easier funding, a mobile-first interface or extra features.
